Originally used by the Charrúa Indians, piedra de azufre has long been recognized in South America as a topical remedy to help alleviate aches, pains, and gas pockets trapped in the upper and lower back and neck muscles.

Simply roll over the affected area applying slight pressure. The little cracks indicate that the sulfur is absorbing the negative tension present in the affected area, which is what produces the pain. If the sulfur bar breaks before the cracking noise has ceased, a new bar is required to continue the above process to complete the absorption, repeating the process until the bars stop cracking.
